What is the Problem with Web Hosting Pad?

The company is founded in 2005 and if you look at the Google search trend for them compared with BlueHost, HostGator, LunarPages and JustHost, the problem is simply too obvious! For the last several years in business, they are unable to take up any market share at all! Even JustHost, a new web hosting company that is only 2 years old is able to grow substantially faster than them!

(BlueHost, HostGator, LunarPages, JustHost, WebHostingPad)

WebHostingPad vs BlueHost vs HostGator vs LunarPages vs JustHost

Look carefully again, their dark blue line appeared only slightly beginning 2008.

Without any growth for the last 5 years, they become very desperate and that's why recently, they decided to cut their price very very low to attract more customers. But instead of getting me excited, I am actually getting more nervous.

A $66 hosting account for 24 months? A $71.64 hosting account for 36 months? What kind of service quality can you expect from this? And if you can't do well selling at your normal price ($4.95 which is already very cheap!), how do I expect you to do well selling it 60% lower at $1.95/month? I just can't imagine what type of service can I get for 3 years for paying you only $71.64. How much $71.64 do you need to get before you can pay for the servers and the technical support for 3 years? I think it is very hard to maintain the business even if you outsource everything to India.

It just didn't make sense to me. I would rather try them when they are selling at normal price. But for this price, I smell something. I would rather not take the risk to end up getting what I pay for - a "cheap" service. And don't be fooled by the "TODAY ONLY!" tag in their website, I have been seeing it everyday for the last few months.

WebHostingPad Scam!

WebHostingPad is a scam! After I wrote this review, I received several feedback from my visitors telling me about their scam. The details are written in my blog post Web Hosting Pad scam. Indeed, you get what you pay for.

Don't be fooled by them. Stick with the top brands, start by reading my BlueHost review!
